Filipino Nationalism

                     Our nationalism is very important role in our lives. We carry it every time and everywhere we go. Other people could see it in our selves by the way we act, the way we talk or the way we use things. We should act by being a TRUE FILIPINO. For being friendly, cheerful, hospitable, well disciplined or even if we have so many problems we face it and tried to be happy, even in the back of that happiness, we have so many problems that we try our very best to solve it. When we are in other country we can easily distinguished weather the people we see is a Filipino or not because we can see it on how they act.so we should be true in our selves so that when other nationality saw us, Filipinos. They will have a good impression in us.

Being a Filipino we should study our history including how the Filipino sense of nationalism had been awakened because this is where the Filipinos start to fight for their country. Before, Filipinos don’t care about their country and the sense of nationalism has not been awakened  them. They have less care weather the Spaniards, the Americans or the Chinese will conquer us and will not give us a freedom to do what is right for us. But because of the six factors(Cavite mutiny, Execution of GOMBURZA, Secularization, Opening of the world trade center, the katipunan, and the illustrados) that awakened the nationalism of the Filipinos, we learn to have a nationalism, to fight for our country. And to prove the other country that we can govern on our own way. And that we can be independent.

Filipino nationalism, our main goal is to govern or lead our own country and to be independent. Even though it has a bad effect, it also has a good effect. Even though they did not give us freedom and they did not give us a chance to govern our own country and it turn out into a Filipino-Spanish war and a Filipino-American war, we learn lots of things. And even though the war had killed lots of people, we gain again our own country. You see, all things that happened have a Good and Bad results. Good or bad, we learn a lesson from it. So in the future we can straighten our mistakes. What is Filipino nationalism?  Our Filipino nationalism is loving our own country with our whole heart and soul.

Filipino nationalism is to support our country and by determining and analyzing our country,we should also pay respect and honor our national flag. And we should buy our own products and recommend it with other country. And by supporting our government and their programs, like the  clean and green, Keeping our surrounding and environment clean. Or by studying the history of our own country and respecting it. And by working with harmony with your fellow Filipinos. There are many ways we can show our Filipino nationalism. But the most important of all, is BEING PROUD TO BE A FILIPINO!
